Perinatal Support
Pregnant women and new mothers have been highlighted as a priority group within the Suicide Prevention Strategy for England 2023 to 2028.
Our perinatal support page highlights the importance that we recognise there is an increased risk of suicidal thoughts or feelings during mental health declines within this period.
Support and information is available on this page for both men and women.
Talking saves lives
Every week, one person dies by suicide in Sheffield.
Our campaign #TalkingSavesLives aims to change this by encouraging people to talk about how they are feeling when they are struggling. That first conversation, asking for help, can make every bit of difference to someone who is thinking about ending their life.

Who are we?
This site is for anyone who’s having suicidal thoughts or feelings, or who’s worried about someone else. You can use it to search for local and national help, support and information, as well as specific support around bereavement (and there are also learning and training resources).
Our charity built this website from the ground up, in partnership with Sheffield City Council, by collaborating with local people who have experienced suicidal thoughts.
